Shopping at Tempe Marketplace includes major stores like Barnes & Noble or JC Penney, GAP or Target, along with smaller stores that offer clothing, footwear or accessories, sportswear and accessories and health and beauty stores like Bath & Body Works or 7 Day Spa & Nails. With department stores like American Apparel or Urban Outfitters and many smaller boutiques and shops that offer just about anything you need from clothing, jewelry, footwear, beauty products or souvenirs to take home to your friends and family.
The beauty of Mill Avenue District is that they all take what they call MAD money which is really gift certificates that are good for any of the businesses located here – books and gifts, apparel, arts and décor or mobile phones – you can find whatever you need and be able to use this MAD money to pay for it. Not only that but you have lots of restaurants, bars and local entertainment venues handy as well so that when you get tired of shopping you can head for the nearest pub or watering hole for a refreshment or a meal depending on your mood.
